Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid
Madrid welcomed faith representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to highlight dialogue, diversity and mutual respect. The meeting included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers presented different experiences and viewpoints on how education can reduce Scientology prejudice.
Throughout the gathering, participants addressed themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when rooted in respect for human rights.
